We have kicked off 2026 with real momentum at V7 Recruitment. The first quarter has been defined by growth, investment, and a continued focus on delivering for our clients and candidates across key markets.

Here is a look at what we have been up to.

Expanding Our Presence into Finland

A major highlight of Q1 has been the launch of our new office in Finland.

After a sustained focus on growing our presence across the Nordic region, this marks an important step in our long-term commitment to the market. Establishing a local presence allows us to work more closely with our clients, spend more time with our contractors, and build stronger, more collaborative partnerships on the ground.

This move is not simply about expansion. It reflects our commitment to investing in the regions we operate in and supporting sustainable growth within the industries we serve.

Continued Growth of Our Mission Critical Division

We have continued to build momentum within our Mission Critical division, further strengthening our position in what is a key strategic market.

As part of this growth, Billy and Ciara transitioned into the team, bringing their expertise and energy to an area that is seeing increasing demand. This move reflects both the opportunity within the sector and our commitment to aligning the right people with the right markets.

To further support our clients and contractors on the ground, we have recently brought onboard a Country Manager, Jason. With over 20 years of international experience, including five years at Country Manager level, he brings a strong track record in leading large-scale operations, managing key client relationships, and driving growth across complex projects.

Bringing the Team Together

Q1 was not just about performance, but also about people.

This day was a direct result of the team’s hard work and commitment. Each month, when we hit our budget, we spin the wheel to decide the reward. After a number of rollovers, we finally landed on an Activity Day, making it all the more worthwhile.

With a strong performance behind us and a healthy pot built up, we were able to go all in on a full day of activities. It was a great opportunity for the team to step away from the desk, enjoy some friendly competition, and make the most of a well-earned reward together.

We brought the whole team together for a dedicated day at Hover Force, with activities ranging from hover crafting and crossbow shooting to off-road karting and archery battles. The day was full of energy, competition, and plenty of laughs, made even better by some rare blue skies.

We rounded things off with a team meal at Sapporo Teppanyaki, giving everyone the chance to unwind and reflect on a brilliant day.

Moments like this play a big role in strengthening relationships, rewarding the team’s effort, and bringing that positive energy back into the way we work every day.

Welcoming New Talent to the Team

We have continued to invest in our people with several new additions to the V7 team.

Liam joined us as a Managing Consultant within our Permanent division, bringing over 15 years of experience in technical M&E recruitment and a strong track record across major UK engineering projects.

Aimee joined our Construction Recruitment team as a Resourcer, adding a proactive and people focused approach as she continues to develop her career in the industry.

Becky also came on board as an Operations Executive, bringing organisation, energy, and valuable experience supporting fast paced businesses.

We also welcomed Jason, who joins us as Country Manager, further strengthening our leadership as we continue to grow internationally.

Recognising Performance and Driving Results

Performance has been a key theme throughout the quarter, with multiple Sales Days and Lunch Clubs recognising both consistency and new business wins across the team.

Our themed Sales Days brought energy and collaboration into the office, combining competition with tangible results. From generating new opportunities and strengthening client relationships to expanding into new regions, these days showcased the impact of a motivated and aligned team.

Alongside this, our monthly Lunch Clubs gave us the opportunity to celebrate success properly. Whether it was incredible food, great company, or a bit of friendly competition, these moments recognised the hard work that goes into delivering results. This quarter saw the team celebrating at Tattu, El Gato Negro and San Carlo.

Sharing Market Insights Through Industry Resources

Throughout Q1, aligned with our 2026 marketing focus to strengthen brand visibility and sharpen the positioning of each of our divisions, we continued to release monthly industry resources designed to support both clients and candidates with valuable market insight.

Each month focused on a key sector, with content tailored to address specific hiring challenges and reinforce our expertise:

  • Fire & Security (January): A compliance-led hiring guide supporting urgent, certified recruitment needs.
  • Data Centres (February): A workforce report highlighting the importance of early talent planning ahead of peak Q2–Q3 demand.
  • Construction (March): A targeted resource focused on attracting and securing white-collar professionals.

These resources are all available on our website and form part of our ongoing commitment to providing value beyond recruitment.

Record-Breaking Performance

The first quarter has also seen record-breaking months across the business.

This reflects the strength of our partnerships, the consistency of our team, and the continued demand across the markets we operate in. It’s also been driven by a clear focus on refining our offering, proactively connecting with new clients, re-engaging and maximising our existing networks, and continuing to build strong personal brands across the team.

It’s a strong indicator of the direction we are heading in and the solid foundations we are building for the rest of the year.

Looking ahead

Q1 has set the tone for what is shaping up to be an exciting year at V7 Recruitment.

With continued growth across key markets, further investment in our people, and a focus on delivering real value to our clients and candidates, we are looking forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
