The Opportunity
V7 Recruitment are partnering with a rapidly growing, independently owned security systems integrator who are expanding their senior leadership team.
Due to continued project wins across enterprise and high-security environments, they are seeking a technically strong Survey & Commissioning specialist to take ownership of pre-installation surveys, system validation and final commissioning delivery.
This is a key hire within the engineering function, offering genuine technical autonomy and involvement in complex, integrated security projects.
Salary & Benefits
- £60,000 – £70,000 basic salary

- Carry out detailed technical site surveys and produce structured reports
- Review and validate system designs prior to installation
- Oversee and complete commissioning of integrated security systems
- Conduct configuration, testing, calibration and optimisation of systems
- Ensure documentation, compliance standards and handover packs are completed accurately
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and subcontractors on-site
- Attend project meetings and act as the senior technical point of contact
- Enterprise CCTV platforms
- Access control solutions
- Intruder detection systems
- Intercom and integrated security technologies
- 5+ years’ experience in security system commissioning or technical surveying
- Strong understanding of IP-based systems and networking infrastructure
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Genetec, Milestone or C-Cure
- Knowledge of manufacturers such as Axis Communications, Honeywell or Gallagher advantageous
- Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and technical specifications
- Strong documentation and quality control standards
