The Opportunity
V7 Recruitment are supporting a well-established and growing electronic security integrator in the appointment of a Security Systems Manager.
This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance and development of integrated electronic security systems across multiple client environments. The role combines technical authority, operational oversight and team leadership, ensuring systems remain resilient, scalable and fully compliant with industry standards.
This opportunity would suit an experienced security systems professional looking to step into a broader management role with influence across engineering, projects and service delivery.
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary

- Oversee day-to-day operation of integrated electronic security systems including CCTV, access control and alarm platforms
- Manage system configuration, upgrades, maintenance and performance optimisation
- Lead new system deployments, upgrades and expansion projects
- Develop scopes of work, timelines and documentation for project delivery
- Act as technical escalation point for hardware, software, network and integration issues
- Ensure accurate system documentation including schematics, topology drawings and asset registers
- Maintain compliance with NSI/NACOSS Gold standards and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Lead and develop technicians and support teams, establishing workflows and service standards
- 5+ years’ experience managing electronic security systems
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, VMS platforms, access control software and intrusion systems
- Familiarity with network infrastructure including TCP/IP, VLANs, switches and servers
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, floor plans and schematics
- Experience managing vendors, contractors and cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements within accredited security environments
- Manufacturer platform experience such as Genetec, Milestone or enterprise-level access control systems would be advantageous.
- Project management certification or formal security qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
