Location: North West London / Hertfordshire (regional patch coverage, no further than 90 minutes from home address )
The Opportunity
V7 Recruitment are supporting a well-established and highly regarded electronic security integrator in the recruitment of a Service Engineer to cover North and West London.
This company has a niche within the UK shopping center market, covering over 30% of the UK's security contracts in this space.
This role offers the opportunity to manage your own regional client base, taking full ownership of service delivery, technical performance and lifecycle management within your designated area. The position sits within a business that delivers CCTV and access control solutions to major commercial portfolios, national organisations and public sector environments.
This would suit either an established Senior Service Engineer or a strong Junior Engineer looking to step into a more autonomous, accountable role with clear progression.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary: £32,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)

- Manage engineering activity across your allocated region within agreed response parameters
- Take ownership of technical performance and lifecycle planning for client accounts
- Maintain high standards of documentation and service reporting
- Liaise directly with clients, providing a professional and solution-focused approach
- Support upgrades and system improvements where required
- Work collaboratively with operations support and senior engineering teams
- Systems will typically include IP CCTV platforms, access control and integrated security technologies, often incorporating manufacturers such as Axis Communications and enterprise-level VMS platforms.
- Proven experience within the electronic security industry
- Strong working knowledge of CCTV and access control systems
- Good understanding of IP-based technologies and networking fundamentals
- Ability to manage your own diary and workload effectively
- Professional communication skills and client-facing confidence
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clean UK driving licence
