Location: North West
Salary:  Competitive market rates

Job Overview
V7 Recruitment are seeking skilled and reliable Fire Alarm Service Engineers to join our clients team. Due to development of existing and new accounts, the company have 4 openings for skilled Service Engineers!
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintaining, and minor works  across commercial and education sites, ensuring all systems operate effectively and comply with current fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Emergency lighting maintenance, repairs & swaps
  • Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of fire detection and alarm systems.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits in line with service schedules.
  • Respond to call-outs and emergency breakdowns when required.
  • Ensure all systems comply with BS 5839 standards and fire safety regulations.
  • Complete service reports, documentation, and compliance records.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers.
  • Identify opportunities for system upgrades or remedial works.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer / Service Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
  • Experience with systems such as: Advanced, Kentec, C-tec
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
  • Good understanding of BS 5839 fire alarm standards.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
Sites you will attend:
  • Education (schools, nurseries, colleges etc)
  • Commercial (warehouses, offices etc)
  • Large scale residential (Vicarages only)
Qualifications:
  • FIA Units (desirable, training provided if not)
  • Current DBS, or ability to pass one
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)
