v7 Recruitment

Joshua Ramsay

Marketing Manager (FTC)

About me:

I started my career in marketing through the lens of public relations, having come from a creative background with an undergraduate degree in English. From the beginning, I’ve always been interested in the point where creativity meets business, taking ideas, words and stories, then turning them into something that helps a brand actually move forward.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked across recruitment marketing, content strategy, brand-led campaigns, website projects, social media, video, design and community-led activity. That mix has made me a fairly broad marketer, but the common thread has always been the same: making brands sound and look sharper.

What do you enjoy most about working at V7 Recruitment?

I'd say it's the balance between stability and growth. V7 has strong foundations, with great people, established processes, and plenty already happening across the business. At the same time, there’s still a real sense of momentum and opportunity, which means you can make an impact, contribute new ideas, and help shape what comes next.

Finding an available aircraft engineer and finding one who can actually fulfil your maintenance requirements aren't always the same thing. For maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) businesses across Europe, aircraft ratings, recency, licence privileges and mobilisation requirements can quickly narrow a shortlist. And when the next maintenance programme arrives, will the engineers who've already worked with you want to return? Attracting contractors calls for an accurate brief, a competitive assignment and a practical mobilisation plan. Encouraging them to return depends on what happens after they accept.
