V7 are looking for a Workshop Technician on behalf of our close client, operating in the Water Industry. It's the opportunity to work for a leading player within the engineering utilities sector. You will be responsible for Engineering duties within the workshop facility.
The role is full time, permanent and on offer is a salary of circa £37,000 plus overtime and benefits.
Key duties:
- Always wear and maintain appropriate PPE when on-site and in the workshop.
- Uphold and promote company core values and safety culture.
- Receive and complete on-site assignments from Project Managers, adhering to Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Working Procedures.
- Perform technical tasks within the limits of valid certifications and approved qualifications.
- Follow client-specific working practices, site rules, and health & safety protocols while on-site.
- Safely handle hazardous substances by consulting the company’s COSHH data sheets as needed.
- Carry out workshop tasks as assigned, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Support general maintenance, equipment preparation, and troubleshooting as required.
- Assist with any other reasonable duties assigned by Project Managers.
