Door Entry & Access Control Engineer – West London (Contract)

Location: West London

Rate: £265 – £275 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract: 10-month initial contract (potential extension)
Start: ASAP
Payment: Weekly pay every Friday

The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced door entry and access control engineer to work across West London on a large residential housing contract. The role will involve servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on door entry and access control systems across multiple residential sites.

This position forms part of a busy programme of planned maintenance and reactive works, with a strong focus on resolving issues quickly and completing repairs on the first visit where possible.

Consistent workload on a long-term housing contract

Key Details
Working hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Potential requirement for out-of-hours reactive works (paid at time and a half)
All work located within West London

Responsibilities
Service and maintain door entry and access control systems
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Diagnose and repair system faults
Complete job reports via Synch Pro system
Ensure first-time fix where possible
Manage small parts stock where required

Requirements
Experience servicing door entry and access control systems
Experience with Intratone systems would be beneficial
DBS check (required or willing to obtain)
Own vehicle (car or van)
Own tools
Ability to manage service schedules and reactive jobs
Strong fault-finding skills
