Senior Quantity Surveyor – European Hyperscale Data Centres

Location: Europe | Rotation (10 Days On / 4 Days Off)
Contract: Ongoing Rolling Contract
Package: Competitive Day Rate + Travel & Accommodation Provided

Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth across a large portfolio of European hyperscale data centre projects. The business continues to scale rapidly across multiple European regions, delivering major mission critical programmes for leading hyperscale operators.

This is not a traditional site-based Senior QS position tied to one long-term project location. The successful individual will sit within a European Business Unit and support live hyperscale project delivery across various locations depending on business and project requirements.

This position is being offered on an ongoing rolling contract basis, with long-term project pipeline and continuity of work available across multiple live hyperscale programmes throughout Europe.
The role combines traditional Senior QS responsibilities with broader exposure to contract administration, commercial governance, and change management within a fast-growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Contract administration across live hyperscale data centre projects
  • Change management and protection of contractual position
  • Commercial reporting and financial controls
  • Support wider commercial governance processes
  • Risk identification and mitigation
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and delivery teams
  • Support commercial consistency across live project environments
  • Travel across European project locations where required
Project Environment
  • European hyperscale / mission critical data centre projects
  • Large-scale live construction environments
  • Active regions include Norway, Finland, Austria, Germany, and wider Europe
  • Subcontractor delivery model rather than traditional Main Contractor environment
  • Typical package values £10m–15m+ with larger programmes sitting significantly above this
Candidate Profile
  • 7–8+ years Quantity Surveying / Commercial experience
  • Electrical / M&E background preferred
  • Strong contract administration experience essential
  • Change management experience highly desirable
  • Estimating / take-off exposure beneficial
  • Comfortable operating within fast-growth environments
  • Strong operational credibility
  • Happy working rotationally across Europe
  • EU passport preferred
