This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent subcontract work with a well-established security contractor. The initial assignment will run for 12 months, with the potential to continue throughout the wider eight-year housing contract.
You will work across occupied residential properties, carrying out planned maintenance, fault-finding and reactive repairs on access control and door-entry/intercom systems. The contract primarily uses Entrotec equipment.
Scope of Work The successful engineers will be responsible for:
- Servicing and maintaining access control, door-entry and intercom systems
- Working predominantly with Entrotec equipment
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Fault-finding, diagnostics and reactive repairs
- Completing small remedial works and system repairs
- Completing service reports and associated documentation
- Collecting parts and equipment from the client’s office when required
- Ensuring all work meets current industry standards and client requirements
- Delivering excellent customer service within occupied residential properties
- Working independently and managing a daily workload across South London

- Proven experience servicing and repairing electronic security systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with access control, intercom and door-entry systems
- Entrotec experience is highly desirable
- Previous social housing or residential maintenance experience is advantageous
- Valid DBS or willingness to complete a new DBS check
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools and suitable transport
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Professional and comfortable working in occupied residential properties
