Security Installation & Commissioning Engineer
Location:  North West (Manchester, and surrounding areas)

We are seeking an experienced  Security Installation & Commissioning Engineer  to join our growing team based in the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in electronic security systems to work across a range of sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a variety of security systems, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain electronic security systems including:
    • CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
    • Access control systems
    • Intruder alarms
    • Intercom and door entry systems
  • Carry out system commissioning and testing to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on existing security systems.
  • Produce accurate commissioning documentation and site reports.
  • Work from technical drawings, specifications, and site plans.
  • Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Provide on-site technical support to clients and end users.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and project teams.
  • Participate in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs when required.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of electronic security systems.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • CCTV (IP networking preferred)
    • Access control systems
    • Intruder alarm systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
