Installation Duties:
- To carry out the installation of electronic security systems as per specification and Project manager’s instructions (or his / her deputy)
- To adhere to NSI codes of practice and industry standards
- To provide a high standard of work at all times
- To keep your line manager updated on your daily progress
- To deliver all tasks as per your grade to the best of your ability
- To liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical advice when necessary
Service Support:
- To participate to call out rota
- To occasionally assist the Service department if required by the business.
About the Role:
This is a field based role which requires a degree of physical work, working at height and driving to and from sites within a given day. Carrying out your duties may be in a lone working scenario or with a colleague depending on the job at hand. Primary duties will be to first fix, second fix and commission CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems, mainly in commercial environments, to NSI standards, within a given time.
Depending on experience and grade, you will be expected to deal with different levels of the installation. As an engineer, you will be expected to participate in the call out rota.
