Sales Surveyor - Passive Fire Protection

West Midlands

V7 Recruitment are partnering with a leading specialist contractor who is continuing to grow across the UK. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an ambitious  Sales Surveyor  to join their Midlands team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction, surveying or technical sales who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and carrying out site surveys. You'll be given the autonomy to develop your own client base while working for a well-established business with genuine opportunities for progression.

The Role
As a Sales Surveyor, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with both new and existing clients across the Midlands, identifying opportunities and carrying out pre-construction surveys to support project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing new business opportunities across public sector and commercial clients
  • Managing existing client relationships and identifying repeat business opportunities
  • Carrying out site surveys, taking measurements, photographs and compiling detailed survey reports
  • Working closely with estimating and operational teams to produce accurate quotations
  • Supporting tender submissions and framework opportunities
  • Attending client meetings both virtually and on site
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline and managing opportunities through the sales process
  • Regular travel throughout the Midlands visiting clients and project sites
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
  • Previous experience in a Sales Surveyor, Technical Sales, Business Development or Surveying role
  • Experience within construction, refurbishment, compliance, fire protection, M&E or a related industry
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own diary
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to winning work
  • A full UK Driving Licence
