The Opportunity

V7 Recruitment are working with a leading data centre delivery specialist to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their project team in Skellefteå, Sweden.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a large-scale data centre project, working closely with the wider project and commercial teams to control costs, manage contracts and maximise value.
What's on Offer
- Salary upto €100,000 DOE
- €265 euros per week allowance (net)
- Discretionary bonus scheme between 5-20% of salary paid in March – this is dependent on project performance

- Single occupancy accommodation (furnished apartment) or 21000 SEK per month (equivalent to €1900) towards accommodation
- Shared vehicle use to get to site
- 24 days annual leave pro rata. This will increase to 30 days once the employee has worked one full year as at 31 March.

- Support the commercial and contractual management of the project.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and cost reporting.
- Support subcontractor procurement, tendering and contract administration.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers and site teams.
- Manage commercial and contractual documentation.
- Attend commercial, site and project review meetings.
- Support change control and variation management.
- Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
- Provide commercial support and advice to the project team.
- Assist with financial reporting and resolution of commercial issues.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within construction.
- Experience supporting the commercial delivery of construction projects.
- Good understanding of cost control, procurement and contract administration.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Data centre, industrial or mission-critical experience would be advantageous.
