The Opportunity

Must be EU passport holder

V7 Recruitment are working with a leading data centre delivery specialist to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their project team in Skellefteå, Sweden.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a large-scale data centre project, working closely with the wider project and commercial teams to control costs, manage contracts and maximise value.

What's on Offer
  • Salary upto €100,000 DOE
  • €265 euros per week allowance (net)
  • Discretionary bonus scheme between 5-20% of salary paid in March – this is dependent on project performance
  • Flights covered
  • Single occupancy accommodation (furnished apartment) or 21000 SEK per month (equivalent to €1900)  towards accommodation
  • Shared vehicle use to get to site
  • 24 days annual leave pro rata. This will increase to 30 days once the employee has worked one full year as at 31 March.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the commercial and contractual management of the project.
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts and cost reporting.
  • Support subcontractor procurement, tendering and contract administration.
  • Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers and site teams.
  • Manage commercial and contractual documentation.
  • Attend commercial, site and project review meetings.
  • Support change control and variation management.
  • Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
  • Provide commercial support and advice to the project team.
  • Assist with financial reporting and resolution of commercial issues.
About You
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within construction.
  • Experience supporting the commercial delivery of construction projects.
  • Good understanding of cost control, procurement and contract administration.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Data centre, industrial or mission-critical experience would be advantageous.
