V7 Recruitment are working with a leading European data centre delivery specialist who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Planner to join their team in Skelleftea, Sweden.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major hyperscale data centre development, comprising two 74MW facilities, with the overall programme expected to run for approximately 8–9 years.

For the right candidate, this offers long-term project security, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to work on one of the largest data centre developments in the region.

The Role
As Project Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and programme management of the project, working closely with Project Managers, Package Managers, design teams and subcontractors.

Package
  • Salary up to €110,000
  • €265 net weekly allowance
  • 5–20% discretionary annual bonus based on project performance
  • Flights covered
  • Furnished single-occupancy accommodation OR approximately €1,900 per month accommodation allowance
  • Shared vehicle for travel to site
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • €150 health membership voucher
  • Pension scheme

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules aligned with project objectives.
  • Supporting planning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring progress and identifying programme risks, delays and potential impacts.
  • Coordinating with Project Managers, Package Managers, design teams and subcontractors.
  • Supporting the preparation and updating of short- and long-term construction programmes.
  • Tracking progress against key milestones and reporting programme performance.
  • Attending planning meetings, progress meetings and project reviews.
  • Analysing critical paths and identifying opportunities for programme optimisation.
  • Reviewing subcontractor programmes and ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule.
  • Producing regular progress reports and schedule updates.
  • Supporting programme-related inputs for claims and variations.
  • Maintaining accurate planning documentation.
  • Supporting the resolution of scheduling and coordination issues.
About You

We're looking for a Planner with:
  • 4+ years' experience in project planning within construction or engineering.
  • A degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing and managing construction programmes.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Data centre, industrial or mission-critical experience would be highly advantageous.

Rotation Options 3 Weeks On / 4 Days Off

Work across Monday–Saturday during the first two weeks, followed by Monday–Wednesday during Week 3, before travelling home for Thursday–Sunday off.

5 Weeks On / 1 Week Off

Work Monday–Saturday across the five-week rotation, with travel home on Saturday and a full week off before returning to site.
