V7 Recruitment are working with a nationwide fire & security provider to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to support delivery of fire system projects across the Midlands, UK. This role involves technical engineering, commissioning, and site leadership on a variety of major projects. (Permanent)

- Commission fire alarm systems in line with industry standards (e.g., Gent, Notifier, Kentec)
- Conduct surveys, inspections, and performance testing
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and contractors
- Ensure all work meets quality, health & safety, and compliance requirements
- Plan labour and materials for project delivery
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients as needed
- Manage site-based engineers and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate commissioning records and produce technical reports
- Occasionally support with hands-on installation and commissioning work
- 3+ years’ experience commissioning fire and/or security systems
- Strong knowledge of systems such as Galaxy, Gent, Notifier, Kentec
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (desirable)
- Background working on multi-site engineering projects
- Excellent communication and technical problem-solving skills
- Valid UK driving licence
