Project Planner | Data Centre Construction
 
V7 Recruitment are working with a leading data centre delivery specialist to recruit an ambitious Project Planner to join their growing project delivery team in Helskinki, Finland.  
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner with construction experience to work on large-scale, technically complex projects within one of the fastest-growing sectors in Europe. You will play a key role in developing and managing project programmes from pre-construction through to construction, commissioning and final delivery.

The Role
  • Developing, maintaining and reviewing detailed master construction programmes.
  • Producing project controls procedures, progress reviews and reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, delays and programme variances.
  • Supporting proactive problem-solving and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Managing programme resource requirements across pre-construction, construction and commissioning phases.
  • Creating and maintaining progress reporting tools to track key milestones and project objectives.
  • Providing regular performance updates and variance analysis.
  • Representing the Planning function in client and subcontractor meetings.
  • Working closely with project teams and key stakeholders to ensure clear communication around programme status.
  • Supporting the development of long-term client relationships and contributing to wider business growth.
  • Taking ownership of assigned projects while supporting colleagues across the wider planning team.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and the development of best-practice planning processes.
 
What We're Looking For
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within construction planning or project controls.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical or high-tech industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and planning processes.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
  • Experience with BIM or digital construction tools would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of programming techniques and production rates.
