Multi-Skilled Engineer

£300 - £350 per day
V7 Recruitment is currently seeking Multi skilled Engineers to join and support their current Engineering Team in Staffordshire on a contract basis. As the Multi Skilled Engineer will need to have experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be willing to work on a continental shift pattern.
Multi skilled Engineer responsibilities:
- Read and gain information in order to keep up to date with technological advancement.
- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on food manufacturing machinery.
- Ensure machinery is in the highest order to ensure smooth running.
- Diagnose defect, effect repair and evaluate results.
- Identify and order correct spare parts from different sources and communicate this information across levels.
- Be able to attend urgent breakdown with the right tools.
- Have a knowledge of drawings and handbooks in order to work and apply information to the full scale.
- Create part of the Engineering team managing and maintaining the dynamic performance of new and current machines on a continuing basis and suggest improvements.
