V7 Recruitment are working with a leading Project Management Consultancy who are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support the delivery of multiple large-scale data centre construction projects in Finland. This is a client-side role, offering long-term contract stability across a multi-project programme.
Role Overview The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all site logistics activities to support efficient construction delivery. The role requires close collaboration with the client, PMO, contractors, suppliers, and security teams to ensure materials, equipment, and plant are delivered safely, securely, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the project logistics plan in line with construction sequencing
- Coordinate just-in-time deliveries for critical MEP and infrastructure equipment
- Maintain and control delivery schedules, access bookings, and site movements
- Interface with main contractors, trade contractors, suppliers, and freight providers
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve logistics issues or delays
- Coordinate laydown areas, storage, and material handling on site
- Ensure logistics activities comply with HSE, site rules, and client security protocols
- Support logistics planning for large plant, abnormal loads, and lifting operations
- Track logistics performance and provide regular updates to the client project team
- Assist with logistics risk identification and mitigation strategies
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator on large construction projects
- Data centre, mission-critical, pharma, or large MEP-heavy project experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and material flows
- Experience working client-side or with project management consultancies
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contractors simultaneously
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (English required; Finnish beneficial but not essential)
- Willingness to be Finland-based and travel between project sites
- Long-term freelance contract (20+ months expected)
