V7 Recruitment are looking for an experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to take ownership of the testing, commissioning, and handover of advanced physical security systems . This role is hands-on and client-facing, requiring deep technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure systems are delivered to specification, function flawlessly, and meet the highest standards of compliance and performance. Key Responsibilities:

Lead commissioning activities for electronic security systems including access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion alarms, and intercom systems.

Plan, schedule, and execute commissioning phases of projects to ensure timely completion.

Perform system configuration, programming, and testing to verify performance against design requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.

Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Document commissioning results, prepare handover packages, and provide system training to clients.

Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and client requirements.

5+ years of experience commissioning physical security/electronic systems.

Strong hands-on expertise with major platforms (e.g., Genetec, Lenel, CCURE, Honeywell, Avigilon, Milestone).

Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with networking, IP addressing, and system integration.
