Overview
We are currently looking to hire multiple HSE Advisors to join a major data centre construction programme in Finland. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of Europe’s largest and most ambitious infrastructure developments, with a programme of works expected to run for more than 6 years.
These roles will support the delivery of a large-scale, fast-paced construction project, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance are maintained across site operations. Data centre experience is desirable but not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for HSE professionals looking to transition into the rapidly expanding data centre sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the project Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project through engagement with contractors and site teams.
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
- Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings where required.
- Monitor and report HSE performance metrics to the project team.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to drive continuous improvement.
- Previous experience in an HSE / Health & Safety Advisor role within construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial environments.
- Relevant HSE qualifications(e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work within a large, fast-paced project environment.
- Experience working on data centre, mission critical, or large infrastructure projects.
- Previous international project experience.
- Knowledge of European HSE regulations.
