V7 Recruitment are seeking a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a flagship project based in Leeds.
Rate: Negotiable
Start Date: February 2026
End Date: September 2026 (with a possible extension to December 2026)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the project during the PCSA stage
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Pricing work packages
across the project
- Working closely with the Commercial Lead on contract matters
Ideal Candidate
- Will have extensive experience working on projects during the PCSA stage
- Proven background working on large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of commercial management and cost control
- Experience with package pricing, procurement, and contract administration
- Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
- Confident working closely with senior stakeholders and commercial leads
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently in a freelance capacity
and add value from day one
