Fire Stopping Working Supervisor Location: Southeast London & wider Southeast (some nationwide travel may be required)
Rate: £230 per day + travel allowance
Contract: Self-employed | 3-month rolling
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Weekly, every Friday

About the Role: We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Fire Stopping Working Supervisor to take a leading role on our passive fire protection projects across London and the Southeast.

This is a hands-on position combining supervision and practical installation, working closely with site teams to deliver high-quality, compliant fire stopping works. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising small works, conducting surveys, preparing material take-offs, and ensuring that all on-site activity meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and work alongside fire stopping installation teams on live projects.

  • Plan and oversee daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

  • Carry out small remedial works, inspections, and surveys.

  • Complete material take-offs and support project delivery documentation.

  • Liaise with clients, site contacts, and project managers.

  • Maintain site compliance with fire safety and health & safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:  Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping works
? Strong understanding of FIRAS or BM TRADA standards
? CSCS Gold or Supervisory Card(SSSTS preferred)
? Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
? Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
? Ability to read drawings, manage small teams, and deliver work to specification
