Fire & Security Service Engineer – Derby & Midlands V7 are recruiting experienced Fire & Security Service Engineers to support a national commercial contract across Derby and the Midlands. This is a long-term subcontract opportunity offering consistent work across an established portfolio of sites.

The role will have a strong focus on security systems and warden call systems, so previous hands-on experience servicing and fault finding on warden call systems is essential.

The Role
  • Initial 6-month rolling contract with long-term potential
  • Monday to Friday working pattern, with weekend work available
  • Service, maintenance and fault finding across:
    • Warden Call Systems – essential
    • Access Control
    • CCTV
    • Intercom Systems
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Basic servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting where required
  • Working across sites throughout Derby and the Midlands
  • Managing your own workload and service calls efficiently

Requirements To be considered, you'll need:

  • Previous warden call service and maintenance experience – essential
  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining security systems
  • Strong knowledge of Access Control, CCTV and Intercom systems
  • Basic experience with fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
