Location: Swindon (covering Swindon, Reading and Gloucester)
V7 are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a leading national business supporting multiple commercial & domestic sites across Swindon, Reading and Gloucester. - Service, maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and testing on security systems
- Occasional fire alarm servicing and basic fire fault-finding
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant standards and site procedures
- Provide technical support to customers while maintaining high levels of professionalism
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation accurately
- Strong background servicing security systems as a priority
- Experience with CCTV, access control and intruder systems
- Basic fire alarm service experience beneficial but not essential
- Confident fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working across commercial environments
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Relevant electrical or security engineering qualifications preferred
- Product training on common security platforms advantageous
- Full right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence required
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS
- Monday to Friday (standard day shifts)
- Participation in call-out rota when required (1 week in 6)
