Multiskilled Fire & Security Service Engineer (Subcontract) – Bath & Gloucestershire

£33.00 - £34.00 per Hour

Weekly Pay Every Friday

We are currently seeking an experienced Multiskilled Fire & Security Service Engineer to join an ongoing subcontract project covering Bath, Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for long-term contract work with a well-established fire and security contractor, working across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial and public sector sites.

Scope of Work The successful engineer will be responsible for:

  • Servicing and maintaining fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems

  • Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive repairs

  • Small remedial works and system upgrades

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

  • Completing service reports and relevant documentation accurately

  • Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements

  • Providing excellent customer service whilst on site

Location Work will be carried out across:

  • Bath

  • Gloucestershire

  • Surrounding areas

Engineers must be willing to travel between sites.

Contract Details
  • £33.00 - £34.00 per hour

  • Outside IR35

  • Weekly pay every Friday

  • 5-day working week

  • Immediate start available

  • Ongoing workload

  • 6-month contract with the potential for further extensions

Requirements
  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems

  • ECS/CSCS card preferred

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Own tools and transport

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
