The Opportunity We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join our growing team working across multiple sites in London. This is a long-term 6-month rolling contract with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate.
This role offers consistent work, competitive daily rates, and weekly payments, making it an excellent opportunity for skilled carpenters with fire door experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, fitting, and adjustment of fire doors and associated ironmongery
- Carrying out fire door inspections, maintenance, and remedial works
- Ensuring all installations meet current fire safety regulations and compliance standards
- Maintaining high levels of health & safety on site
- Working independently across multiple sites while delivering high-quality workmanship
Requirements
- Proven experience installing and maintaining fire doors
- Good knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance standards
- CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)
- Own vehicle and full set of tools
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Reliable and available to start immediately
