Fire & Security Installation Engineers – 6-Month Contract (Dumfries)
We’re currently recruiting two experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineers for a 6-month project based in Dumfries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team delivering high-quality installations across CCTV, fire alarm systems, and access control.
Role Details
- Location: Dumfries
- Duration: 6 months
- Start: ASAP
- Hours:
- Option 1: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Option 2: 4 longer days per week (flexible schedule)
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate, weekly pay every Friday
- Status: Outside IR35
- Install fire alarm panels, CCTV systems, and access control systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and site safety standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to meet deadlines
- Proven experience installing fire, CCTV, and access control systems
- Valid ECS card (essential)
- PASMA and IPAF certifications (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Long-term contract with stable weekly hours
- Flexible working pattern (4 or 5 days per week)
- Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly
- Outside IR35 engagement
