The Opportunity
V7 Recruitment are working with a well-established fire and security specialist to recruit a Fire Alarm Service Engineer covering Leicester/Coventry and the surrounding region.
This is a field-based role focused on servicing, maintenance and fault-finding across commercial sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fire alarm systems remain fully compliant, operational and maintained to current industry standards. This position would suit an experienced service engineer looking for a stable regional patch with a growing business who really respect their staff.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive & flexible basic salary, typically between £35,000-£42,000

- Ongoing training and manufacturer courses
- Local work in Coventry/Leicestershire
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial sites
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensure all works comply with current British Standards (BS 5839)
- Accurately complete service reports and certification
- Liaise with clients on-site and provide technical guidance where required
- Participate in call-out rota 1 in 8
- Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Good understanding of BS 5839 regulations
- Experience working on conventional and addressable systems
- Full UK driving licence
