V7 Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm Design Engineer to join a growing, well-established organisation based in London. The company has secured multiple multi-million-pound projects, creating a strong pipeline of work with recurring opportunities expected to continue for up to 15 years.

- Salary ranging from £50,000-£60,000 DOE

- Produce detailed designs for Fire systems including Fire Detection and Alarm, PA/VA, EVSC systems
- Manage design approval processes, ensuring full compliance with scope documents, regulations and industry guidelines.
- Lead projects from initial design stage through to full documentation at handover.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant client procedure documents and integrate requirements into all design work.
- Proven experience in the design of Fire Detection and Alarm, PA/VA, EVCS
- Ideally an FIA design certificate or similar
- Experience designing Security Systems such as CCTV, Access Control & Intruder alarms would be beneficial, but not required to apply
- Strong working knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design outputs simultaneously.
- BIM experience is advantageous but not required
