Fire Alarm Design Engineer 

V7 Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm Design Engineer to join a growing, well-established organisation based in London. The company has secured multiple multi-million-pound projects, creating a strong pipeline of work with recurring opportunities expected to continue for up to 15 years.

What’s on Offer
  • Salary ranging from £50,000-£60,000 DOE
  • £5700 car allowance
  • Pensions scheme
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 35 + BH with service
  • Hybrid working structure
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed designs for Fire systems including Fire Detection and Alarm, PA/VA, EVSC systems
  • Manage design approval processes, ensuring full compliance with scope documents, regulations and industry guidelines.
  • Lead projects from initial design stage through to full documentation at handover.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant client procedure documents and integrate requirements into all design work.
Experience
  • Proven experience in the design of Fire Detection and Alarm, PA/VA, EVCS
  • Ideally an FIA design certificate or similar
  • Experience designing Security Systems such as CCTV, Access Control & Intruder alarms would be  beneficial, but  not required to apply
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design outputs simultaneously.
  • BIM experience is advantageous but not required
