- Fully remote role
- Working for UK leading engineering company in their sector
- £45k -50k, 25 day holiday, bonus, pension & more
How does designing products & solutions for a hugely established yet growing engineering & manufacturing business sound?
To set the scene, we are the UK leader in our sector and see our products go all over the world in a range of different sectors. But as we are continuing to grow & evolve, we need to add to our design team to keep up with our high level projects.
That’s where you come in…
So a newly created role to design new products and improve our existing ones working with some really heavy hitting clients along the way and working with our senior designer who can guide, train and mentor you.
And the role is fully remote so you can be anywhere in the UK, which is always a bonus.
The person:
We’re open here – but someone who has a good Electronic Design background and who wants to continue that journey designing our new products as well as improving and evolving our current range on some really tasty projects.
Our products can be found in a range of different sectors, so your background that side isn’t important, but someone who has good circuit design, PCB layout and embedded C or C++ firmware.
And is happy to work remotely from home – although you’re welcome on to our sites any time for a cup of tea!
The role:
As alluded to, we’re super busy. We’ve expanded on our manufacturing site (again), we’ve grown our workforce across the board and that shows no signs of slowing down. With that, we have to expand our design function on new & existing design projects.
So you will be turning product requirements into specifications and test plans, then select components and design schematics and PCBs for analogue, digital, power and interface circuits.
We already have a senior designer who can help & train you where needed, so lots of development for you too.
