Location: Skellefteå, Sweden

V7 Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading data centre contractor to recruit an  Electrical Engineer  for a  major hyperscale data centre  project in  Skellefteå, Sweden.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing project team on a large-scale mission-critical development, supporting the delivery of electrical works from installation through to commissioning. You'll work closely with senior engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination and delivery of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
  • Assist with site QA/QC processes and ensure works are completed to required standards
  • Coordinate daily electrical site activities with subcontractors and supervisors
  • Monitor progress against programme and provide updates to senior management
  • Maintain technical documentation, submittals, and safety records
  • Attend site meetings, engineering reviews, and planning meetings
  • Liaise with the design team and manage RFIs
  • Carry out installation inspections and verification of electrical systems
  • Support commercial activities including variations and progress tracking
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical and coordination issues
  • Manage and close out electrical snagging items
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within electrical construction
  • Experience working with power distribution, lighting, and associated electrical systems
  • Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site practices
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team
  • Strong understanding of electrical installation methodologies
  • Previous experience on data centre, mission-critical, or industrial projects is advantageous
