An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EHS Advisor to join a leading engineering contractor delivering one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developments. Based in Skellefteå, northern Sweden, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a major mission-critical project by promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring the highest standards of environmental, health and safety compliance across site.
Working closely with project management, site teams and subcontractors, you'll help drive best practice, minimise risk and ensure works are delivered safely throughout the project lifecycle.

- Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–5 years' experience in an EHS role within the construction or engineering sector.
- Good knowledge of health & safety legislation, industry standards and best practices.
- Experience supporting EHS activities on large-scale construction projects.
- NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of a project.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety issues.
- Previous experience within data centres, industrial, infrastructure or other mission-critical environments would be advantageous.
- Passionate about promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring everyone returns home safely.
- Support the implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures across all phases of the project.
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health & safety standards and identify potential risks.
- Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project safety requirements.
- Support incident investigations and assist with the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Promote a strong health & safety culture through engagement with site teams and subcontractors.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS documentation and records.
- Attend site coordination meetings, safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Assist in preparing EHS reports and monitoring key safety performance indicators.
- Provide practical advice and guidance to project teams on health, safety and environmental best practices.
- Support compliance with environmental and sustainability objectives across the project.
- Identify, report and help resolve EHS concerns to ensure continuous improvement.
