Requirements:
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commissioning leadership roles within mission critical, data centre, industrial or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes, programmes, procedures and documentation.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and witnessing FAT/FWT activities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent programme and deadline management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment and work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Commissioning Engineers and Package Engineers.
- Define commissioning scope and oversee delivery against project requirements.
- Develop, manage and track commissioning programmes, milestones and critical deadlines.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are delivered in line with contractual requirements and project procedures.
- Coordinate and manage vendor FATs (Factory Acceptance Testing) and FWTs (Factory Witness Testing).
- Manage commissioning activities across CFCI and OFCI packages.
- Act as the key point of contact for all commissioning stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors and internal teams.
- Chair and contribute to daily and weekly commissioning meetings.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to achieve programme objectives.
- Support project handover and closeout activities.
