£38.00 – £40.00 per hour

V7 Recruitment is looking for an experienced Automatic Door & Roller Shutter Engineer for a long-term subcontract opportunity covering Nottingham and the wider East Midlands.

We’re looking for a multi-skilled engineer with experience across automatic doors, roller shutters and associated entrance systems who is confident carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs.

There is a strong pipeline of work available, with the opportunity for consistent Monday-to-Friday subcontract work on a long-term basis.

The Role
  • Service and maintenance of automatic doors
  • Service and repair of roller shutters
  • Reactive call-outs and fault finding
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
  • PPM and scheduled maintenance
  • Minor repairs and remedial works
  • Working across a variety of commercial and public-sector sites
  • Completing service reports and relevant documentation
  • Managing your own workload across the East Midlands
Contract Details
  • £35.00 – £40.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Outside IR35
  • Long-term subcontract opportunity
  • Initial 6-month rolling contract
  • Monday to Friday
  • Consistent workload
  • Nottingham & wider East Midlands
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Weekly pay every Friday
  • Immediate starts available
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Automatic Door, Industrial Door or Roller Shutter Engineer
  • Strong service and maintenance background
  • Confident fault finding independently
  • Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • ADSA and/or DHF qualifications highly desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools and suitable vehicle
  • Able to work across Nottingham and the wider East Midlands
