V7 Recruitment is partnering with a leading provider of automatic entrance systems, industrial doors, and access control solutions. Due to a growing portfolio of service contracts, we are looking for experienced Automatic Door & Roller Shutter Engineers to support planned and reactive maintenance across the South Coast.
The Role Contract Type: Sub-Contract – Service & Maintenance
Systems Covered:
- Automatic Swing Doors
- Sliding & Bi-Fold Doors
- Roller Shutters
- Sectional Overhead Doors
- Industrial Access Systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on-site.
- Service a range of automatic and industrial door systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
- Complete service documentation accurately and professionally.
- Demonstrable experience servicing and maintaining automatic doors, roller shutters, industrial doors, gates, or barrier systems.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working within commercial, industrial, or public sector environments.
- ADSA and DHF qualifications are essential.
- Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Rate: £37–£40 per hour (depending on experience)
- Location: South Coast
- Contract: Initial 6-month contract with excellent potential for extension
- Hours: Monday to Friday, with regular overtime available
- Payment: Weekly
