Automatic Door Engineer

– Hull & North Yorkshire £38.00
–£40.00 per hour/Outside IR35 | Long-Term Contract | Weekly Pay

V7 Recruitment is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer for a long-term subcontract opportunity covering Hull, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for consistent, long-term work, predominantly carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs across automatic door systems.

The Role
  • Service and maintenance of automatic doors
  • PPM and scheduled maintenance
  • Reactive call-outs and fault finding
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
  • Repairs and minor remedial works
  • Working on automatic sliding and swing doors
  • Replacing faulty components where required
  • Completing service reports and documentation
  • Working independently across Hull, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas
Automatic Door Systems We’re looking for engineers with experience across a range of automatic door manufacturers, which could include:

  • Record
  • ASSA ABLOY
  • GEZE
  • Dormakaba
  • FAAC
  • Tormax
  • Gilgen
  • Entrematic
  • Automatic sliding doors
  • Automatic swing doors
  • Powered entrance systems
You don't need experience with every manufacturer, but you must have a strong background working specifically with automatic door systems.

Contract Details
  • £38.00 – £40.00 per hour
  • Outside IR35
  • Initial 6-month rolling contract
  • Long-term opportunity
  • Monday to Friday
  • Consistent workload
  • Hull, North Yorkshire & surrounding areas
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • Weekly pay every Friday
  • Immediate start available
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Automatic Door Engineer
  • Strong automatic door service and maintenance experience
  • Confident fault finding and repairing automatic doors
  • Experience across a range of automatic door manufacturers
  • Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools and suitable vehicle
  • Able to work independently across multiple sites
This would suit an experienced Automatic Door Engineer, Automatic Entrance Engineer or Door Service Engineer looking for consistent, long-term subcontract work.
