v7 Recruitment

Charlotte Kershaw

Accounts Apprentice

Back Office

About me:

Having finished my A-Levels less than a year ago, I’m the newest face to the industry! Before this role, I worked in hospitality, so I’m used to fast-paced environments and working with people every day.

I’ve always loved maths and numbers, which made this role a perfect fit for me. I especially enjoy being part of the business itself and seeing how the numbers connect to the bigger picture, rather than just working externally.

When I’m not at work, I spend most weekends at the cricket club or socialising with friends at the local pub.

What do you enjoy most about working at V7 Recruitment?

I first came across the company through its TikToks, and it immediately stood out as a place that looked both fun and engaging, while still maintaining a professional and ambitious environment.

The role particularly appealed to me because it offers the opportunity to develop my skills through my apprenticeship, while growing alongside the company and progressing in my career.

You Are Attracting Applicants, Not The Right Candidates One of the biggest misconceptions in hiring is the belief that more applications automatically lead to better hires. In reality, the opposite is often true. When a job advert is too broad, generic, or poorly targeted, it attracts volume instead of relevance. Hiring managers then spend hours filtering through unsustainable CVs, while genuinely qualified candidates either overlook the role entirely or disengage because the opportunity feels unclear.
