V7 are working with a leading national security provider to recruit skilled Fire & Security Service Engineers for a long-term subcontract opportunity across Manchester and the surrounding area.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a flexible, well-paid role with a company that values expertise and autonomy. You’ll work independently across multiple housing sites, handling both reactive callouts and scheduled maintenance of life safety systems.
What You'll Be Doing Servicing and maintaining:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Emergency Lighting
- Access Control
- Intercoms
- Diagnosing and resolving faults
- Managing your own daily schedule and workload
- Delivering excellent service across social housing contracts
- £33.00 - 34.00/hour (Outside IR35, paid weekly)
- Unlimited overtime available
- Monday to Friday core hours (weekend work optional)
- 6-month rolling contract with strong potential for extension
- Immediate start
- Hands-on experience servicing fire & security systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Valid DBS (must be cleared prior to starting)
- Long-term, well-structured contract
- Weekly pay – every Friday
- Unlimited overtime and weekend work (“hours worked, hours paid”)
