The first quarter of 2025 may be over, but the year – and the team here at V7 – are just getting started.
Since our last update at the end of the year, some big changes have happened at V7 Recruitment. So, let’s take a look at a few key highlights:
Expansion Into The Middle East
At the beginning of February, you may have seen one of our biggest company updates to date.
Following on from the significant success that we’ve achieved over the last 5 years and after much consideration and analysing different markets to see which would best synergise with V7’s current offerings, we shared with clients, candidates and the online world that we were officially registered to conduct business is the Middle East.
We’ve already begun to operate virtually from our Manchester office, working with Aviation clients on a large project, but a team of experienced Recruitment Consultants will be ‘𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥’ and in our very own V7 office in the United Arab Emirates later this year.
As our Managing Director, Steven, describes,

V7 Turned 8!
Birthdays always feel like t1hey come around quickly… and it was no exception with V7’s 8th Birthday which we celebrated in January. An annual tradition to commemorate the event with cake this years had to feed more mouth and it didn’t disappoint.
As for most, birthdays offer an opportunity to reflect on achievements from the past year and set goals for what is wanting to be achieved in the coming year. Our 7th year in business brought many huge successes, opportunities for growth and – to be expected – a few hurdles to overcome. Having learnt a lot, we’re aiming to make our 8th year even bigger and better.

2 Internal Promotions
As a company who prides themselves on offering clear progression plans from day one, we’re THRILLED to share that during quarter one of 2025 we promoted 2 of our consultants!
Ciara joined V7 Recruitment in January 2024 as an Associate Recruitment Consultant within our Fire and Security Contract team. Over the last year, she’s gone from strength to strength in her role, brining onboard her own clients, growing her contractor base and secured frequents seats on our High Achievers Lunch Clubs for exceeding her targets.
A HUGE congratulations to Ciara for being promoted to Recruitment Consultant.
Eve attended a Graduate Assessment Day in June 2024, and out of a group of nearly 20 other graduates, stood out to us immediately. Her drive, determination and positive attitude has made her a key asset to our Permanent Construction team and we’re thrilled to have promoted her to Recruitment Consultant.
In 2024, 5 Consultants and 1 member of the Back Office team received promotions, which means that – if we keep up this trajectory – 2025 will be a record breaking year for promotions offered!
Our First Assessment Day of 2025
Having previously outsourced our Graduate Assessment Days, and having brought all hiring internally through the brilliant addition of our Talent Attraction Manager, Helen, in Q1 of 2025 we decided to run, manage and host our first Graduate Assessment Day by ourselves.
With Manchester BURSTING with vibrant graduate talent, we invited over 20 fresh graduates – and soon to be grads – to the V7 office for the day.
Assessment days like this are a great opportunity for fresh talent, who may not have a lot of experience, to showcase their soft skills and attributes through a variety of tasks throughout the day.
…and the day was a HUGE success! 4 grads we’re offered Associate Recruitment positions within different divisions at V7 and we can’t wait for them to start at varying month during the year.

3 New Consultants Join The Team
Quarter one also saw the V7 team grow yet again, with 3 new faces joining the team.
We welcomed:
Alice McAleer who joins our Permanent Construction team.
Ellen Ferry joining Permanent Fire and Security.
Charlotte Bradley, one of our Graduates from the Assessment Day, joining the Permanent Construction Division.
